Repair Pavement and Roadways at Fort MacArthur

Repair Pavement and Roadways at Fort MacArthur

This design/build project was to remove and replace the asphalt pavement on over 100,000 square feet of roads around Fort MacArthur in San Pedro, CA. The project included designing the new asphalt roadways to achieve proper water drainage flows into the existing drain system. In addition the project included an additional 250,000 square feet of seal coat and striping in and around the roads and parking lots on the base. In addition to the asphalt repairs, there was a large concrete scope. GBC completed over 1,500 feet of curb and gutter, 500 feet of v-gutters, and 500 feet of sidewalks. GBC performed successfully on this project without any incidents or problems
